Discover the endless possibilities of snowshoeing this winter, from summiting some of your favorite area peaks you normally hike in summer to exploring the woods and fields behind the house with your kids. Snowshoes offer flotation in deep snow and traction on a variety of snowy and icy surfaces, and experiencing the outdoors on snowshoes is a great way to access places you can’t reach on skis, get a great workout, and enjoy seeing the local landscape from a wintry perspective. Snowshoeing is the perfect sport for any age, fitness, or ability level, and getting your gear on and finding the right destination can be quick and simple. Recreation & Trail Snowshoes

For many of us, snowshoeing is a fun way to be active all winter, and conquering mountains isn’t our goal in getting outside. The recreation and trail category of men’s and women’s snowshoes is perfect for the recreational, fitness-oriented, or beginning snowshoer. These light, durable models are ideal in the backyard, on snowmobile trails, and on gentle to rolling terrain, and feature moderate crampons and user-friendly bindings.

Expedition & All Terrain Snowshoes

Steep, mountainous terrain. Variable snow conditions like deep powder, hardpack, or icy crust. Backcountry ascents in search of out-of-bounds skiing or snowboarding. If this is your idea of a great day, then men’s or women’s expedition and all-terrain snowshoes are a must-have on your equipment list. These rugged and high-performing models feature aggressive crampons, lightweight and durable materials, and snug bindings designed for use with hiking boots as well as ski mountaineering or snowboard boots.

Running Snowshoes

Winter road running can be a drag, with risky obstacles like slippery roads or snowplows. But snowshoe running is an outstanding alternative to keep you fit, outside, and immersed in beautiful winter conditions. Our running snowshoes are engineered specifically for a runner’s gait, with super-light asymmetrical frames, fixed toe cords, and slim crampons for ease of stride, flotation, and traction. We offer models for recreational running as well as top-tier race models.

  1. I have a pair of Tubbs snowshoes with a broken heel strap.
    Do you do repairs?
The snowshoes are women’s Venture 25 and they are about 4 years old.

  2. Hi Louis,
Yes, we repair snowshoes. Drop them off anytime and we’ll have them back to you in a day or two. Heel strap replacements generally cost $10-15.
