Build your birding skills by exploring the shores and bays of the Champlain Valley with NBNC experts in search of fall migratory waterfowl. Learn to find and identify the more challenging ducks, geese, grebes, and other species residing in Lake Champlain and its tributaries. For the more advanced birder, learn to confidently parse out lookalikes like Ross’s Goose and Snow Goose or Lesser Scaup and Greater Scaup. For the newer birder, learn how to use important field identification cues like wing pattern and flight profile to discriminate between different types of waterfowl. The trail builders at Bolton Valley have been busy all summer, time to check out what they have done! The day features an Enduro race with awesome long stages, as well as a festival to celebrate the return of the Bolton Valley trails!
Our friends in New Hampshire are putting on an epic Bike-Packing Adventure Ride. The ride, hosted by the Coos Cycling Club will be 80ish miles (one overnight) in New Hampshire's Great North Woods. The ride is self supported but by no means do you need to be an experienced bike packer. Just come loaded up with gear and prepared to have a great time!

Every August the Northeast Delta Dental Race To The Top Of Vermont draws as many as 800 hikers, bikers, and runners from across the U.S. and Canada to climb Mt. Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak. The course climbs up the historic Mansfield Toll Road, is 4.3 miles in length, and climbs 2564 ft. For some it’s all about trying to achieve a fast time up this tough 4.3 mile course. For others… they come to test themselves, and to enjoy the spectacular views.
