Most longtime Vermont cyclists have heard of the Central Vermont Cycling Tour, Vermont's original, classic gravel grinder ride. We're thrilled to announce that the host of this ride, the wonderful folks at Cross Vermont Trail Association, have just passed the baton to Onion River Outdoors!
This gorgeously scenic ride begins and ends at Morse Farm, home of the scrumptious maple creemee, so we have redubbed this ride "Tour de Creemee". Everything else will stay the same from the three routes - 15, 30 and 60 miles - to the convenient rest stops, the well marked routes and finally the wonderful, local picnic, including, of course, a celebratory creemee!
The soul of this ride remains true as we continue to support the mission of Cross Vermont Trail Association with proceeds. Join us for this family friendly, community oriented ride and experience the magic of cycling the most beautiful gravel roads in Vermont on a summer's day!
Start time: Between 7:30am - 10am
Looking to beat the heat for the longer rides? Participants can start as early as 7:30am, or as late as 10am if you'd prefer to sleep in! However, if you're doing the longer loops and/or looking to beat the hit (or possibly rain?!), starting on the earlier side of the start window is advisable so you make it back to Morse Farm earlier in the afternoon for food, merriment, and the all-important creemee!
Bib Pick-Up: 7:30am - 9:30am
Picnic Lunch: Served from 10:30am onwards
Convince your friends or family to join this incredible event as a volunteer! Cheer on riders, hang with the Onion River Outdoors team and help fundraise for Cross Vermont Trails Association.
