Calling all fat bike enthusiasts and newcomers! Our annual Frozen Onion is the perfect time to demo fat bikes from Surly, Salsa and Rocky Mountain Bicycles, join in a group ride and maybe even try out some Altai Hok adventure skin skis.
This annual winter event takes place at North Branch Trails in Montpelier, VT, in partnership with Montpelier Parks and Montpelier Area Mountain Bike Association.
Riders of all abilities welcome to explore our demo loops. Got your own bike? Hop on a group ride and get to know the local riding community! We'll have Mild (mellower, less climbing) and Wild (intermediate to advanced riding, all the trails up the hill) led group rides. Check back later to see the group ride schedule.
This event is FREE!, with optional donation to MAMBA for trail grooming and maintenance. The Demo is located at the entrance to North Branch Park, off Elm Street by the Montpelier Pool (Poolside Drive) with overflow parking on Ballfield Drive.
